I have to ask if you took parts of the main antagonest from snow crash to formulate your prediction. It didnt hit me how similar everything was until you mentioned “the metaverse” and “babel”
I am listening to Snow Crash right now! So I think there is some bleeding in from the book, especially with me calling the future internet “The Metaverse”. But most of where I think the future is going is from Ghost in The Shell (With cyber brains), what I see happening with augmented reality, and playing second life for hours and hours.
Oh….just keep reading…I wont spoil anymore but you got more right than you know
